HTC is Planning to Release Two Windows RT (Blue) Tablets
While HTC fans are relentlessly pushing the Taiwanese company to release a new Android tablet version, we could get a couple of Windows Blue models instead.
Microsoft isn’t exactly thrilled to see that their Windows RT and Windows 8 OSs haven’t taken off in the tablet market at the planned rate. The software giant has been working on the “Blue”, a major update to both Windows RT and Windows 8. It is said to deliver market enhancements in terms of touch-based experience.
Rumors saying that HTC is developing two Windows RT/Blue tablets are not unfounded. We have been hearing numerous tips surrounding HTC’s planned comeback to the tablet industry. The company didn’t fare so well with its early Android-based attempts, HTC Jetstream and HTC Flyer.
These two devices will be called HTC R7 and HTC R12. The former has 7” 1080p display and powered by the ultra-fast 2.3GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor. HTC R12 is a much larger tablet with 12” (2048 x 1536) display also with the same processor model.
