Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx Review

The Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx shares similar basic design characteristics with the Asus Transformer Prime. It has all the touch-based versatility of a tablet as well as optional keyboard that can help users get the work done quickly. When docked, the battery life of Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx is doubled from 8 hours to 16 hours.
On the sides, there are microSD card slot, microHDMI out port, microUSB port and a couple of USB 2.0 ports. The 11.6” (1366 x 768) IPS display has five-point multitouch capability, good viewing angle and natural color reproduction, although text may not look sufficiently crisp due to low pixel density.
In the tablet mode, the Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx weighs at only 640 grams, which is reasonably light for an 11.6” device. The honeycomb pattern on the outside contributes to good handling, although its grey coloring looks somewhat subdued. It should be noted that the Lenovo IdeaTab Lynx runs a full Windows 8 OS, which allows users to run legacy PC software. The Intel Atom dual-core processor and 2GB of RAM should deliver acceptable performance level.
