Prestigio is a Cyprus-based manufacturer and reportedly, it’s preparing for the MultiPad Pro, a 9.7” tablet. It will be available for European customers in April for approximately 229 Euro. Prestigio attended the 2012 CeBit exhibition in Hanover. It appears that the tablet is powered by a 1GHz Cortex-ARM8 dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM and Mali 400 GPU. The display uses IPS (In-Plane Switching) technology, however the resolution is not yet revealed. It houses a VGA (0.3Mp) front-facing camera and no camera on the back. The 8GB of internal storage is a bit cramped for today’s standard, but users can add up to 32GB of microSD card.
The MultiPad 9.7 Pro isn’t a very powerful tablet, but with a large IPS display, decent internal hardware and an attractive price tag, it should be a good buy.
