Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 users can put a smile on their faces as it’s rumored that they will soon receive a major software update that bring them to Jelly Bean (Android 4.2.2).

Samsung released the Galaxy Tab 7.0 2 in April last year and they hasn’t completely neglected It. The tablet originally arrived with Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0.3) out of the box and received a number of software updates, including an Android 4.1 build. The rumor went ahead saying that the first generation Galaxy Tab models will be getting Android 4.1.2 update in coming months.

Previous rumors said that the Android 5.0 (Key Lime Pie) will be rolled out for Samsung devices, including all 2nd generation Galaxy Tab models, Galaxy Note 2, Galaxy S2 and Galaxy S3. If it’s true, users will be getting an even more significant software upgrade this year.
