Acer Iconia Tab A110

Acer Iconia Tab A110The holiday season is a good moment to purchase various mobile devices and Acer wants to take advantage of the opportunity. The company has officially announced its upcoming tablet the 7” Iconia Tab A110. The device will be powered by an Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor. It will also feature Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) and 8GB of on board storage. With only a front-facing camera and no camera on the back, the Iconia Tab A110 seems to be in line with other budget offerings in the market. Thanks to the Battery Saver Core technology, the new tablet will have 7.5 hours of battery life. The extra core will free up the more powerful Tegra 3 quad-core chip from performing lights tasks. Under 0.5” thick and at only 0.86lbs, the A110 has a strong portability value.

Sure, the Google Nexus 7 is lighter, slimmer and has a higher display resolution, but the Iconia Tab A110 has a microUSB port, microHDMI output and expandable storage. But unfortunately, at its current design, the Iconia Tab A110 seems to lack premium features that set it apart from other affordable 7” tablets in the market.
