Archos Unveils the G10 Tablet
This weeks Archos shows us a preview of their upcoming Android tablet that uses a powerful multi-core processor and a special keyboard dock. It is suggested that Archos G10 will hit the shelves in less than one month and we can safely assume that we will see an official introduction at IFA 2012 Berlin. The tablet is likely to run Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) or even Jelly Bean and to have a 10.1” display. Though we’ve seen numerous affordable Archos tablet models, the G10 could be aimed directly at the top-tier market.
Despite the lack of further details, it’s possible to make an educated guess on the actual hardware specs of the tablet. The Archos G10 could be powered by a quad-core processor, possibly Nvidia Tegra 3. It will be mostly white with a full-reinforced glass front and an appealing gray back. The keyboard seems to have a low-profile design with physical connection to the tablet and moving buttons.
Recently, there are reports about Samsung’s upcoming tablet with official announcement set for August 15th, which put it on the same timeline with the Archos G10.
