Gadmei showed off two tablet models with glassless 3D technology, the E3-3D and T863. In terms of hardware and design, both tablets are almost identical. They have 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 single core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, 5000mAh battery and Android 4.0.3. Alongside these, there are 2Mp rear-facing shooter, VGA webcam, miniHDMI port and microUSB port. Both use 8” display, with slight differences in display resolution, the E8-3D sports 1280×800 resolution as compared to the T863’s 1280×768. Beyond that, performance level of these tablets couldn’t be more different. When it comes to 3D movies playback and pictures, E8-3D is better than the other tablet. They seem to share similar fingerprint issue, both pick up dirt and grease incredibly easily, which reduce E8-3D’s viewing experience.
There’s still no release date set yet for the E8-3D and Gadmei said that E8-3D will be available for $160. The T863 is already available at stores for $130.
