Huawei MediaPad 7 Lite Review

Huawei seems to know how to design a solid-looking tablet and one of them is certainly the MediaPad 7 Lite. At first glance, the device looks quite nice with its matte silver aluminum body, which reeks of quality. There’s a 3.2Mp rear-facing camera at the top and Huawei logo at the bottom.

The small piece of raised plastic on the back may look like a defect, but it’s actually a design choice which prevents the speaker from resting flush with any surface when the unit is laid down. By today’s standards, the 7” 1024 x 600 display may not look awful, but it is certainly disappointing for users who have used iPad Mini or Nexus 7 before.

The tablet is equipped with 1GHz Cortex-A8 single-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Gaming experience may not go so well when it involves high-end 3D titles, but the MediaPad 7 Lite is capable enough for running casual games, such as Angry Birds.
