Olipad Graphos Preview
More than one year ago, Olivetti, an Italian electronics manufacturer released two tablet models, the 10” Olipad 110 and the 7” Olipad Smart. Now, the company is preparing Olivetti Olipad, which is powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor and a cheaper Nvidia Tegra 2 dual-core model, the Olipad Graphos.
The Olipad Graphos is an 8” tablet with IPS panel screen and 1024×768 pixels resolution. Just like the Samsung Galaxy Note, it sports the highly accurate WACOM digitizer and the NFC capability. The tablet weighs 600 grams and this wouldn’t be a cheap alternative to LG Optimus Vu or the Samsung Galaxy Note. The tablet will run Ice Cream Sandwich and preloaded with fingerprint scanner. There’s still no word on the pricing and release date.
