The Next Google Nexus 7 Tablet May Have Snapdragon 800 Processor and Full HD Display

The Google I/O developer conference will start next week and it may answer a few of our huge questions surrounding the kind of hardware included on the company’s devices. Mingchi Kuo, an analyst from KGI Securities has again given us his prediction.

Kuo has a rather good track record of delivering accurate predictions on upcoming devices and now, he lets slip an important info that the next Nexus 7 tablet model will have 1920 x 1200 resolution, 5Mp rear facing camera, narrow bezel and a light, sleek new design. This whole thing would be available for consumers for only $199, which is the same price to pay to get the original Google Nexus 7.

Inside, the tablet is to be powered by the fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 80 processor and its 323ppi of pixel density, is quite close to the Retina display-quality offered by the iPhone 5. If true, the next Google Nexus 7 tablet will be one perfect device to beat out the pricier Apple iPad Mini with its lower resolution display.
