Wikipad Gaming Tablet

Wikipad Gaming TabletWe have heard about the Wikipad gaming tablet for months and it attracted interest from the mobile enthusiast community due to its bizarre characteristics. The Wikipad gaming tablet is one of the earliest Android tablets dedicated for gaming and it comes with some great specs. We already know that it will have a 10” display and we could safely say that the final design of the tablet is more intriguing and more polished that the prototype we see earlier this year.

Wikipad gaming tablet has a powerful 1.4GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 processor, which is supported by 1GB of RAM. It comes with two storage flavors, 16GB and 32GB, preloaded with Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). The tablet will have all the bells and whistles of high-end Android tablet, including 8Mp rear-facing camera, 2Mp front-facing snapper, built-in stereo speakers, Bluetooth and WiFi.

Its $499 price tag could be a little steep considering that Google’s Nexus 7 tablet ($199) has the same processor, but we should take into account the larger display, a better rear-facing camera and more importantly, its role as a comprehensive mobile gaming platform.
