Google and LG May Release Nexus 5 and Nexus 7.7 in a Few Months
Google will soon add two more new devices to its Nexus lineup. As always they will be the first to feature newest Android OS version. In this case, the LG Nexus 5 and Nexus 7.7 will offer consumers the first sweet-and-tart taste of Key Lime Pie (Android 5.0).
Previously, there were rumors suggesting that the production of the LG Nexus 4 has ceased to release needed resources for the imminent release of newer Nexus models. The Nexus 5 may feature a 5” 1080p full-HD display, Nvidia Tegra 4 SoC, 2GB of RAM, 3Mp front-facing camera and 13Mp rear-facing camera. Storage-wise, the Nexus 5 will be available in 8GB and 16GB versions.
The Nexus 7.7 will have 7.7” (1920 x 1200) display with 294ppi of pixel density. There will also be the same Nvidia Tegra 4 SoC under the hood as well as HD cameras, one on the front and another on the back. Google may officially announce both devices in its own I/O event. However again, we should take any rumor in the mobile industry with a pinch of salt.
