Product designers and engineers in the industry are still exploring what’s possible with Microsoft’s new ARM-based tablet-oriented platform, the Windows RT. Many still stick to the moderately successful concept of tablets with optional keyboard docks.  With the Vivo Tab RT TF600, Asus once again offers us that same old, familiar design.

There’s a 1.3GHz Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor and 2GB of DDR3 RAM under the hood. The device comes with a compact size, first-rate workmanship and well-chosen construction materials. Unfortunately, it has only minimal connectivity options on its sides, with only USB 2.0 port and headphone jack.

The 2Mp camera on the front is good enough for video calls and the 8Mp camera on the back handles ambient light sufficiently. The 10.1 (1366 x 768) display reflects sunlight rather intensely and attracts fingerprints easily. Users can get up to 10 hours of battery life when browsing with WiFi.
