Acer Confirms Iconia W3-810 Through Its Russia Office
Amazon blundered recently, after it accidentally spilled out details of an Acer Iconia tablet model. Now, the giant e-tailer can rest easier as Acer Russia has confirmed the upcoming arrival of the Acer Iconia W3-810. The tablet will arrive on early June. Last week, Amazon published that the tablet runs Windows 8 OS and uses 8.1” display. Although the entry was removed quickly as though it never existed, the consequence can’t be averted.
The word came directly from the general director of Acer Russia, Denis Kutnikov. However, he didn’t clarify whether the June launch was applied only for Russia or also the rest of the world. It is quite exciting to know that Acer’s new tablet will carry features not available on other Iconia Windows 8 models, including the smaller 8.1” (1280 x 800) display. Future users can stand proud that the tablet could compete rather well against the competition with its 1.8GHz Intel Atom Z2760 dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage.
