Asus is widely known as a manufacturer of numerous capable Android tablets, specifically the Transformer series. The Asus Transformer TF500T is a new generation tablet that recently paid a visit to the FCC. Based on its model number, the TF500T could be a mid-range model, between the lower end Asus Transformer Pad TF300 and the high-end Asus Transformer Pad Infinity TF700T.
Not much in the way internal specification was revealed other than a few details that the tablet will have microphone, HDMI port and WiFi. The tablet may share some hardware components of TF300, such as 10.1″ display and quad-core processor. It is quite likely that the tablet will include a QWERTY dock that can transform the device into a netbook. There’s no word when Asus Transformer TF500T will be launched and because the tablet has visited FCC, it is certain that the Asus Transformer TF500T will eventually be released.
