Moments before the release of the iPad Mini, images of a full-size iPad are leaked on the Internet and it seems to have a larger FaceTime camera. It is hard to verify the accuracy of the photos and for the time being, the feature should still be placed in the realm of probability.
The tablet seems to be a revamped version of the 3rd generation iPad and the larger front-facing camera could easily suggest bigger resolution. It is unfortunate that the new iPad still uses a lowly VGA (0.3Mp) camera module at the front, while the iPhone 5 and the latest iPod Touch still use a 1.2Mp component.
Other than the larger sensor, it is believed that the display of the iPad 4 will be bonded optically to the outer glass layer to slim down the tablet’s profile and reduce glare. The same technique is currently used by Microsoft Surface Tablet.
