Toshiba Excite 10 SE Tablet Will be Released Soon
Android tablets may not yet be able to grapple the leadership position from Apple’s iPad lineup, but things will get more exciting. In addition to various affordable 7” contenders, such as Nook HD, Kindle Fire HD and Nexus 7, tablet manufacturers will still maintain their focus on larger 10” slates. Toshiba’s new tablet, the Excite 10 SE will soon arrive to the market.
It certainly nails the status of affordable tablet, with a price tag of $350 which is $100 cheaper than the earlier Excite. The tablet will arrive with Jelly Bean (Android 4.1) out of the box and users may not to sit around for a while waiting for the Android 4.2 update. The Excite 10 SE will boast a 10.1” AutoBrite HD display, Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core processor, HD front-facing camera, 3Mp rear-facing camera, 16GB of onboard storage, microUSB ports, microSD slots, Bluetooth 3.0 and WiFi.
Dimension-wise, the Excite 10 SE can be described as light and slim for a 10.1” tablet, weighing only at 1.4 lbs and measuring at only 0.4” thick. The tablet should arrive on 6 December 2012.
