The iPad 3 was released about six months ago and 4th generation will soon be introduced. Details regarding features and specifications of the tablet are incomplete, but we have clear idea on how the tablet would look like.
The iPad 4 would be powered by Apple’s more powerful processor yet, the A6X. The company claims that it will deliver twice the performance compared to the A5X, with a battery of an unspecified capacity that can deliver 10 hours of battery life. The iPad 4 will also include the Lightning connector, which is also found on the iPhone 5.
There will also be a 4G LTE variant of iPad and it will have faster WiFi performance thanks to the new dual-band 802.11n model that works on 2.4GHz and 5GHz. The channel bonding feature allows the tablet to download 150Mbps of data. At 652 grams, the iPad 4 is still pretty hefty like its predecessors and the tablet should be ready for delivery on November 2.
